A. J. Pierzynski is a Chicago White Sox catcher who is considered to be a cancer in a baseball clubhouse. Teammates and members of the media believe he is unprofessional, immature, and arrogant. He constantly complains about balls and strikes all game long.
Pierzynski is also hated because during spring training in 2004. Pierzynski, crouched behind the plate, took a pitch to the groin. Rushing to his aid, trainer Stan Conte asked him how he felt. “Like this!” Pierzynski grunted, then savagely kneed Conte in the balls. He is constantly getting into fights with coaches and teammates. Recently, he was rated as the worst team mate in the MLB.
